Description
The Herbst C7040 is a compact tracked jaw crusher designed to deliver reliable performance across a wide range of applications, including recycling, construction and demolition. Built for efficiency and ease of transport, it provides a practical on-site solution for processing concrete, rubble and mixed materials.
Performance and Power
At the heart of the C7040 is a 700 × 400 jaw, fed via a direct-feed hopper and protected by Hardox lining to withstand abrasive materials and extend service life. Material is crushed efficiently and discharged onto a folding conveyor, with an integrated overband magnet for effective ferrous metal separation.
Power is supplied by a 3.3-litre Stage 5 Yanmar diesel engine, driving a fully hydraulic system throughout the machine. The crusher delivers an output of 30–60 TPH, with a hydraulically adjustable crush size from 40 mm to 125 mm, allowing operators to adapt quickly to different material types and job requirements.
Mobility and Transport
Mounted on a tracked undercarriage with rubber tracks, the C7040 is designed for stability, low ground pressure, and ease of movement across site environments. Dog-lead remote control enables safe and accurate positioning, even in confined or restricted-access areas.
